Snow sheep

Yakutia Republic, the huge remote area, locates in the northern part of Eastern Siberia. It is the largest subnational governing body by area in the world. Mountains cover over two-thirds of its territory. This wild, sparsely populated country gives you a chance to harvest great trophies of snow sheep, brown bear and moose. We hunt Yakut Snow Sheep in the Verkhoyansk Range – the great mountain range, which runs parallel and east of the Lena River from the Okhotsk Sea to the Laptev Sea. It is the most widespread subspecies of snow sheep. Horns grow up to 35 inches, and are thinner and shorter, than other snow sheep have.

Kamchatka, the region in Russian north-east, is well-known destination for trophy hunters for a long time. In large part, it is a wild country still, which gives you a chance to harvest great trophies of snow sheep, brown bear and moose.

Koryak snow sheep inhabit the Koryak mountains in mainland eastern Siberia, north from Kamchatka Peninsula. These sheep are very similar to Kamchatka form, but a bit smaller in body size, with the same trophy quality.

Kamchatka snow sheep inhabit the Sredinny and Vostochny ridges, the mountains on Kamchatka Peninsula. These sheep have the heaviest horn bases between all Asian snow sheep, with average length of 34-36 inches.

We do Yakut and Okhotsk Snow Sheep combo hunt in north-eastern part of Yakutia, Sette-Daban and Suntar-Khayata ranges near the border with Khabarovsk region. The elevation in the hunting area is 5,200-6,500 feet (1700-2100 m) above sea level.
