Kamchatka, the region in Russian north-east, is well-known destination for trophy hunters for a long time. In large part, it is still a wild country, which gives you a chance to harvest great trophies of snow sheep, brown bear and moose.
Chukotka moose, the largest moose in Asia, inhabit the valley of Kamchatka river and vicinities. These giant animals were brought from Chukotka mainland forty years ago. Now the population numbers more than 3000 moose, and annual harvest is about 130-150 of them. The average antlers' spread is 60-62 inches, but you can expect even 75+ inches trophy.

You will arrive to Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow, where we meet and help you with custom formalities. Next day we will fly to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It is 9-hour non-stop flight.
We will transfer to the camp by van, helicopter, all-terrain vehicle or snowmobiles, depending on the hunting area and season.

September 10 – October 30, November 20 - December 20. Kamchatka brown bear hunt can be added from the 1st of September.
Wooden cabins or heating tents. Kitchen and dining room or tent. Shower/banya. Electric generator. Spike camps are used as well. You should bring your sleeping bag and pad.
Kamchatka Peninsula has a short, mostly cool summer. Cold waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Okhotsk Sea significantly affect. In September and October daytime temperatures in the valley are 40-50F (5-100C), and 20-300F (-5-00C) during the night, with morning frosts, frequent rain and snow.
November and December there is a real snowy winter, with temperatures as low, as -200F (-250C).

This is spot-and-stalk with the moose call, backpack hunt on foot and horseback during the rut.
In later season, we use snowmobiles for transportation around the area. When the fresh track is found, we use skis to make a final stalk.
