Kamchatka Peninsula has a short, mostly cool summer. Cold waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Okhotsk Sea significantly affect. In September and October daytime temperatures in the valley are 40-50F (5-100C), and 20-300F (-5-00C) during the night, with morning frosts, frequent rain and snow.
November and December there is a real snowy winter, with temperatures as low, as -200F (-250C).
