Eighty percent of its territory are covered by Tian Shan mountain system, with the highest peak Jengish Chokusu at 24,400 feet. The beauty of Issyk-Kul Lake (the second largest mountain lake in the world) and surrounding lands gave the nickname "Switzerland of Central Asia" to this country.

You will arrive to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, where we meet you in VIP lounge and help with formalities. The same day we will drive to one of base camps. The journey can take up to 15 hours, depending of camp location and road conditions.

Comfortable warm houses, cabins or traditional yurts. Shower/sauna. Kitchen and dining room. Electrical generation. European/Asian food. Spike camps are used in early season. Bring your sleeping bag.
The high elevation and snow-covered ridges determine long and cold winters. Daytime temperature in November is 5-150F (-10-150C), and during nighttime from -5 to 50F (-15-200C). Hard morning frosts are usual. Herewith, the weather is mostly favorable for the hunting.
This is one of the most adventurous mountain hunt. You should be ready for all-day horseback ride thru rough frozen terrain, up and down by steep rocky slopes. But do not worry, horses there are incredibly strong and very experienced! Much of time you spend glassing the valleys and hillsides.
Once the trophy ram is spotted, you make the final stalk on foot. Individual physical condition is absolutely important. A long-range shooting distance, up to 400-500 yards and even more, is usual. Some camps/areas give you an opportunity to hunt Mid-Asian Ibex also.

You will arrive to Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, where we meet you in VIP lounge and help with formalities. The same day we will drive to Khorog, the main city of Gorno-Badakhshan. It takes 12 hours by Toyota Land Cruiser, or similar. The next day we will make 5-8-hour transfer to the camp.

Daytime temperature in November is 30-500F (0-100C), and during nighttime from 10 to 00F (-10-150C). In December it can be -100F (-200C) on daytime, and -400F (-350 C) at nights. Windy days are usual.
The population of Marco Polo is countless in fact. You can see hundreds of males during the day, driving thru the wide-open plateau by 4x4 vehicle. Your guide and driver help with glassing, and once trophy ram is spotted you finalize the stalk on foot. Individual physical condition is absolutely important.
